Patient came to us with bilateral critical limb ischemia. He had severe pain in the left leg. He presented with wound in the left lower leg and wound in the left inguinal region at the site of femoral artery. In both legs pulses were absent. We did angiography and found bilateral occlusion of common Iliac arteries and aortic occlusion about 15cm in length .
We did bilateral aortoiliac stenting. Th interesting point was that we punctured the left inguinal area under USG guidance in the infected area and also we closed the area with the perclose device at the same time. He was given long term antibiotics. open surgery and placing the graft in the infected area was not possible. he did very well. all his wounds have healed. he is off antibiotics and he can walk for 1 km.
